The inauguration of the new multipurpose building at the Rajagiriya Victoria Housing Complex and the distribution of equipment including wheelchairs for treatment recipients was held on 6 September 2025 under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

This building has been constructed with modern facilities and has allocated space for community care, social services, and community development activities. This opportunity was created for community care by bringing together state and local government institutions, social service sectors, and private cooperation. This building is considered a service center that can directly benefit Victoria Housing in particular.
